I have some questions regarding last pre-release.
See: [https://github.com/ging/licode/releases/tag/v1.0.0-alpha.1](https://github.com/ging/licode/releases/tag/v1.0.0-alpha.1)

External Inputs (H.264 via RTSP

Is the H.264 input encoded to VP8 on server side to stream it to the
clients? I guess this requires a lot of CPU usage.
Or does the client receive H.264?

Chrome, Chrome Android, Firefox and Opera support

Do you have any news about bandwidth constraints regarding Firefox?
maxVideoBW was only working in Google Chrome before.
See: [https://github.com/ging/licode/search?q=maxVideoBW&ref=cmdform](https://github.com/ging/licode/search?q=maxVideoBW&ref=cmdform)

master since this release

This is a usable release.
What’s in, everything in the previous release plus:

- Chrome, Chrome Android, Firefox and Opera support
- Video, audio and ScreenSharing(only in Chrome)
- Centralised and P2P Rooms
- Data exchange via Websockets
- Recording (to MKV format)
- External Inputs (H.264 via RTSP)
- TURN Support

Yes, we transcode H.264 to VP8, and yes, sadly it is quite CPU intensive. At this point none of the browser implementations support H.264, if this changes, though, we will make Licode intelligent enough to avoid unneeded transcoding.

Not at this point, sorry. We will keep testing this and add it to the other stacks as soon as possible:)
