# Moderator Features

Does Licode allow for moderator type features?
For example: kicking someone off a call, muting audio of all participants
until ready, choosing which audio takes precedence etc.
If so, how would I go about implementing it?

Hi Josh,
This is not provided out of the box, but you can easily implement this functionality using Licode.

Hi Javier,
Thanks for the response! Is this something I could achieve solely using the
javascript API wrapper or would I have to modify some of the core code (in
C++). The only way I could think of doing it using the API was to change a
persons role during the call which I didn’t think was possible.
