# RTSP Url Inside vs Outside network

Hi, I wanted to ask that if licode is deployed on a server outside my network and I supply my rtsp url from local network, will the video stream correctly? I want to understand how licode handles RTSP. Does the client end pick the stream data and send it to server side or does the server side try to grab the stream from the url itself?
