Hi friends.

We are very happy to announce that today we have processed the membership
request of the 100th developer in Licode community.

Since November 2012, when we started with the community, we have more than
55 discussions with about 4 messages per day. Moreover, Licode GitHub
repository has 94 stars, 27 forks, 503 commits, 8 branches and every day
developers are more interested in contribute to our code.

All these numbers are the evidence of Licode is becoming a bigger and
richer project every day. Thanks to all of you, your interest, testing and
hard work Licode is a reference in the Open Source WebRTC communications
providers.

Thank you very much.

Wilbert, this is an open source project, if you’re not happy about something,
you either fix it. or start a better one.On Fri, Aug 30, 2013 at 7:47 AM, Wilbert Jackson [wilbert.jackson@gmail.com](mailto:wilbert.jackson@gmail.com) wrote:

You are absolutely right and we will. our frustration is in the fact that
we did repeated testing of the problems, sent the logs as requested, but
heard nothing back as to guidance of how to solve the problems before going
off blindly tracing through code. its only after airing our frustration
regarding a lack of a timely guidance response, which imo does not seem
unreasonable as it may provide an answer for others who have posted the
same problems, that I aired my frustration. The example app did not work
for weeks and the config setting to run the server behind a NAT does not
work. Took three weeks to find that out while my 3 developers side stepped
the project we where planning using the technology for while the customer
questioned our direction. I will quite my whining and not take up any more
forum time. Best of luck to all with the project. On Fri, Aug 30, 2013 at 6:23 PM, Maxime Lévesque [maxime.levesque@gmail.com](mailto:maxime.levesque@gmail.com)wrote:

it is a shame that none of the supposed 100 developers can answer the
questions we, and some others, have spent time on testing and posting logs
about the inability of the system to connect remote clients! a joke!On Thursday, June 13, 2013 4:55:13 AM UTC-4, Álvaro Alonso wrote:

Hi Wilbert,

We’re so sorry but we can’t answer all questions and resolve all errors. we
proposed you not to use a NAT device in front of your Lynckia server, but
if you prefer to implement another solution and there is a problem in the
code, please feel free to contribute the code with your changes as other
developers in this list have done. In the meantime, we’ll do our best to
resolve issues.

Please, let’s maintain current threads to discuss things. If not, future
developers will have problems to follow discussions.

Thanks!

Cheers,
Javier.On 30 August 2013 13:47, Wilbert Jackson [wilbert.jackson@gmail.com](mailto:wilbert.jackson@gmail.com) wrote:
