55 Copies of erizoController.js in htop w/ 10 users watching 1 screen share.. is that right?

I continue to try and figure out why erizoController keeps crashing. One
thing I note is I am looking at 55 copies running in htop. I only have 10
people in a chat room and they are sharing one chart which everyone is
watching.

Is that normal? Why so many copies?

Thanks
Marlin

according to the number you mentioned , are you run licode in a p2p mode?
it is a combination problem.

10 users watching 1 screen share
I assume you have 11 user
Combination(11,2) = (1110)/(21) = 55

That makes perfect sense. Ty PedroOn Thursday, July 17, 2014 5:47:07 AM UTC-4, Pedro Rodriguez wrote:

I assume you are using the master branch as this changes in the others. In
short, this is normal. By default, HTOP displays each thread of the process
in a separate line, that means you only have one erizoController with 55
threads.
Basically, each WebRTCConnection (or erizoStream in the client) takes from
3 to 5 threads depending on the configuration, browser, etc.

Cheers,
