Using Licode with Kurento?

I want to use Kurento as the broadcast app for 1 to many, however the
"many" is limited to bandwidth.
Can Licode MCU be useful in this case?

Thanks,

Ray

You can handle the problem you said using erizo tree function and refer to

Thanks but I don’t want to pay for something that I don’t know if it will

We did a prototype of that functionality and some experiments in controlled
scenarios, as seen in the paper.
The code is in the erizo_tree branch and some parts have been merged into
master. At this point it is not quite ready to be used without considerable
work/tinkering with Licode itself.

We do plan to work in that area at some point but I cannot give you an
estimate.El jueves, 31 de marzo de 2016, 14:43:50 (UTC+2), gbChoi escribió:

Besides, that method would be ok for a small braodcast, but for streaming a
webrtc live broadcast to maybe thousands, I do not want to have to pray that
no one drops off in the middle of the broadcast, thus disconnecting X
number of other viewers. On Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at 11:20:11 AM UTC-4, Ray wrote:
